Privacy Policy

A plain-language explanation of what we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.

1. Who we are

Matcha Filter Remover is an independently operated AI image-reconstruction service available at matchafilterremover.online. Contact us at support@matchafilterremover.online for privacy questions or account requests.

2. Information we collect

  • Google account information you authorize: provider account identifier, name, email address, email-verification status, and profile image.
  • Service data: credit balance and ledger, reconstruction job status, helpful/not-helpful feedback, selected feedback reasons, optional private feedback comments, timestamps, and technical error information.
  • Checkout records: selected credit pack, Stripe Checkout Session and PaymentIntent identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, and the email returned by Stripe. We do not receive or store full card numbers or security codes.
  • Images you choose to upload and AI-generated results. We do not collect your Google password.
  • Essential cookies used for sign-in security, CSRF protection, and maintaining your session.
  • Analytics and usage information collected through Google Analytics, Plausible, and Microsoft Clarity, which may include page visits, referral source, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device information, interactions, and session-replay data. These services may use cookies or similar browser storage. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

3. How we use information

  • Authenticate your account and keep credits and reconstructions connected to you.
  • Run AI reconstruction, safety checks, downloads, and user-requested deletion.
  • Understand aggregate traffic, navigation, performance, and usability so we can improve the website and diagnose problems.
  • Protect the service from abuse, investigate failures, and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.

4. Image processing and retention

Uploads and generated images are stored temporarily only to provide the reconstruction workflow. They are scheduled for automatic deletion within 24 hours and may be deleted sooner when you use the delete control.

After image deletion, limited job metadata may remain so we can maintain credit accuracy, investigate abuse, and operate the service. We do not sell uploaded images or use them for advertising.

5. Service providers

We use Google for OAuth sign-in and Google Analytics; Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, and Queues for hosting, storage, and orchestration; fal.ai for AI image reconstruction and output safety checks; Stripe for secure checkout and payment processing; Plausible for website analytics; and Microsoft Clarity for usage analytics and session replay. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services and under their own privacy and security terms.

6. Account retention and deletion

Account profile and credit records are retained while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, dispute handling, and legal obligations. You may request account deletion by emailing us from the address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify ownership before completing the request.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, restricted server-side storage, same-site secure authentication cookies, access controls, content checks, and short image-retention periods. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please do not upload material you are not authorized to use.

8. Your choices

  • Do not sign in or upload an image if you do not agree with this policy.
  • Delete an available reconstruction from your account history before its automatic expiry.
  • Use browser privacy controls, cookie settings, content blockers, or supported opt-out controls to limit analytics technologies. Blocking analytics does not prevent access to the core website.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of account data by contacting us. Rights may vary by location.
  • Revoke Matcha Filter Remover access from your Google Account settings; this stops future Google sign-in but does not automatically delete the service account.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material updates will be reflected by the date above and, when appropriate, an in-product notice.
